TIGER CONTINUES THE EXPANSION OF BRANCH IN NORTHERN ACCESS

The national government, through the Ministry of Transport, advancing to
the second stage of the expansion of the branch Tigre North Access, which
will benefit more than 85 thousand users and is part of the Comprehensive
Plan of Works for Network Access to the City from Buenos Aires. The work
involves the construction of six kilometers of a third lane in both
directions of traffic, between Uruguay and Montevideo avenue, in addition
to two kilometers and completed between Tomkinson and Uruguay. This second
stage of the expansion of the branch Tiger demands more than 612 million
pesos investment and improve mobility of about 85 thousand residents of the
corridor formed by San Isidro and Tigre. The project includes the paving of
shoulders, matching the branches of access and egress and installation of a
new lighting system LED and metal bumpers. In addition, the enhancement
five distributors will take place: at the junction with the street Carlos
Casares roundabouts will be built, while at intersections with Avellaneda,
Larralde streets and routes 197 and 202 the roads with lanes expected to be
widened and left turns. In all distributors installing a new lighting
system LED technology, building sidewalks and crosswalks and ramps and
shelters waiting passenger bus is expected, and the trees affected by the
works will be replaced.
