THE GOVERNMENT HELD NEXT MONTH, ARGENTINA EXPORTED 2019 FORUM TO ENHANCE THE INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION OF SMES
The Government will next month Argentina Exporta 2019 Forum will bring
together experts, companies and entrepreneurs with the aim of further
strengthening the export sector and promote international integration of
SMEs. It organized for Thursday 23 and Friday 24 meeting will be held at
the Convention and Exhibition Center (CEC) of the city of Buenos Aires. The
event was convened to address the latest trends in the international
market, exporting good practices, innovation and digitalization of trade
and analyze case studies and business strategies and business intelligence,
among other topics. Main meeting of the year on the subject, the Forum will
include business rounds with international buyers, presentations from local
experts and from other countries, workshops for companies by sector and
areas to access public and private provision of services and tools for
exporters . The activity is organized by the Exportadora Mesa and is part
of the Government's strategy to triple exports by 2030 and achieve foreign
exchange earnings by 200 billion dollars (140 billion in assets and 60
billion in services). In the process, the government aims to quadruple the
number of exporting companies, from the current 9500 to about 40 000 for
the next decade. Wages 20 percent above average, the export sector is
currently responsible for 1.4 million jobs, representing about 20 percent
of formal employment at the country level. The actions undertaken by the
Government by the export sector from December 2015, allowed to multiply
international agreements and substantially improve the insertion of
Argentina in global trade.
