The forum featured a panel where they participated in the highest tourism
officials from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru, who expressed concern for
better air connections to expand tourist arrivals to the region.
Santos stressed that "tourism is one of the engines of development in Latin
America but is necessary a joint action between governments and businesses,
to improve connectivity between the countries of Latin America and the
region with the rest of the world."
They also participated in this panel Alvaro Marcelo Antônio, Minister of
Tourism of Brazil, Edgar Vasquez, Minister of Tourism of Peru; and Andrea
Wolleter, National Director of SERNATUR Chile; Yolanda Perdomo was the
moderator, consultant ICF.
