ENVIRONMENT LAUNCHED THE GUIDE FOR WASTE MANAGEMENT IN OFFICES
It was developed by the Waste Department of the Ministry of Environmental
Monitoring and Control.

In order to reduce the environmental impact caused as a result of daily
activity in the workplace, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable
Development of the Nation developed the "Guide to good environmental
practices recommendations for proper waste management in offices".
Thus, the body that leads Sergio Bergman proposes to bring office workers
notions and basic guidelines regarding the efficient use of resources and
management of municipal solid waste and special waste generation universal.
It was approved by Resolution 297/2019 and is aimed at establishing
principles for sustainable management of waste generated in workspaces and
source separation thereof, as well as promote strategies to be adopted in
terms of minimizing the generation, material recovery, reuse, recycling or
disposal.
Good environmental practices proposed in this guide consist of guidelines
aimed at incorporating new working methods and integrated management for
those waste generated in offices, optimizing the actions and decisions
daily are taken from the planning through generation and even the choice of
treatment or disposal that they will provide.
