WE FIGHT DRUG TRAFFICKING AND SMALL-SCALE: IN OCTOBER CIRCULATING REMOVE MORE THAN 23,000 DOSES OF NARCOTICS

The Naval Prefecture Argentina maintains a strong presence in the most
sensitive to bring security to residents and prevent drug trade areas. In
this context, as a result of more than 2000 procedures performed during the
last month the Force led by Eduardo Scarzello managed to remove from
circulation 21,330 doses of marijuana, 2,352 cocaine, pills, firearms and
arrested 2,103 people involved in buying and sale of narcotics.
Thus, 365 days a year Prefectural patrol the streets continuously and as
part of preventive controls, more than 364,000 people and almost 400,000
vehicles, of which 8,242 were retained were identified.
The procedures are carried out within the framework of citizen protection
tasks carried out by the Prefecture in the cities of Buenos Aires
(emergency neighborhoods Zavaleta, 21-24 and Cildañez INTA) and the towns
of Buenos Aires Campana, Escobar, Zárate, Tigre, San Fernando, San Isidro,
Vicente Lopez, Avellaneda and Quilmes.
