Además, se reunió con autoridades y recorrió el Instituto. "Al INIDEP lo vi dotado de un enorme capital humano, con gente sumamente comprometida, que ama lo que hace. Abarcan temas de altísima importancia estratégica para la República Argentina", destacó el Secretario. Junto al director del INIDEP, Oscar Padin y la directora Nacional de Investigación, Claudia Carozza, el funcionario nacional se dirigió hacia el BIP Víctor Angelescu, donde fue recibido por el capitán del buque, Prefecto Pedro Dante Gómez y el por el jefe del Servicio de Buques Guardacostas de la Prefectura Naval Argentina (PNA), Prefecto Mayor Hugo Alberto Caceres. Las autoridades participaron de una misa presidida por el Capellán de la Prefectura Naval Argentina, Claudio Orlando Munilla, y de la posterior bendición de una imagen de la virgen colocada en el ingreso al Angelescu. Luego, Echazarreta recorrió el buque junto al Capitán del buque y el jefe del Gabinete de Hidroacústica, quienes le mostraron y explicaron todas las funcionalidades del barco de investigación más sofisticado que tiene Argentina. Asimismo, se reunió con los directores del Instituto y visitó oficinas, laboratorios y dialogó con el personal.
