Además, en el día de ayer Meoni realizó una videoconferencia con el gobernador de Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora. "Hoy estuvimos trabajando junto a los gobernadores haciendo teleconferencias. En primer término dialogamos con el gobernador de Mendoza, después con el de Chubut, seguimos con el de Salta, el de Chaco y, ayer, con el de Santiago del Estero. Con cada uno fuimos entablando el diálogo en función de lo que significa el transporte para el interior de las provincias, el transporte de larga distancia, cómo vamos a renovar de aquí en más, a partir de la pandemia. ", sostuvo el ministro Meoni. Agregó, también, que "Estamos viendo cómo podemos colaborar con cada una de las provincias para trasladar a las personas de un lugar a otro con todas las dificultades que hay en el país. Por otro lado, estuvimos trabajando y pensando un plan de inversiones porque la Argentina no termina solamente en la pandemia, y tenemos que pensar en cómo de aquí en adelante vamos a poder reactivar cada una de las provincias y cada una de las regiones. Nosotros creemos que es partir de la inversión en la obra pública como se puede sustentar el desarrollo de cada una de las regiones y por eso hablamos con cada uno de los gobernadores". En las reuniones se trabajó de manera coordinada en futuras acciones para prevenir la expansión de contagios en el transporte y se confirmó a los gobernadores que se mantiene el esquema de compensaciones en el transporte por 120 días más para ayudar a las provincias ante la crisis económica que generó la pandemia en todo el país. Además, los funcionarios profundizaron sobre el eje del retorno del servicio de transporte de larga distancia, los posibles avances en relación al regreso de las personas a la residencia habitual y nuevas herramientas para mejorar el cuidado de todos los argentinos.
