Reunión operativa entre la Ministra de Seguridad y el Prefecto Nacional La misma tuvo lugar en la Prefectura Zona Delta y el tema principal fue el control para prevenir la expansión del coronavirus. martes 14 de abril de 2020 La ministra de Seguridad, Sabina Frederic, y el Prefecto Nacional Naval, Mario Farinón, tuvieron una reunión operativa en el marco de los controles preventivos que se realizan para prevenir la expansión del coronavirus, en el Delta, provincia de Buenos Aires. Durante el evento, en donde también participó el intendente de Tigre, Julio Zamora, se les brindó a los funcionarios un amplio detalle sobre el trabajo que realiza la institución en dicho sector, el cual va desde los controles preventivos hasta la asistencia alimenticia. En ese territorio, Prefectura despliega embarcaciones y guardacostas, además de asistir a las organizaciones que acercan ayuda a los habitantes de los distintos cordones de islas, que en ocasiones se ven imposibilitados de salir en busca de mercadería. Al terminar la reunión, la Ministra de Seguridad y el Prefecto Nacional Naval realizaron una navegación, a bordo del guardacostas GC- 78 Madryn, por los ríos: Lujan, Sarmiento, San Antonio y Vinculación desde donde supervisaron el trabajo que realiza la fuerza en el lugar. Cabe destacar que tras finalizada la recorrida, se sumó a la comisión la presidenta de AySA, Malena Galmarini, quien está a cargo de una de las instituciones que brindan asistencia a los isleños.
