Health and Climate Change
The phenomenon of climate change has an impact on human health. It is verified for example in altering habitat vectors that transmit infectious diseases and in the presence of events increasingly extreme weather, such as flooding, drought, cold waves and heat, which in turn affect systems productive and human habitat.
Therefore, the challenge of climate policy should serve to strengthen the capabilities of a health system that is prepared to face the consequences arising from the modification and alteration of the environmental dimension and climate.
