Junto al intendente interino de Ezeiza, Gastón Granados, y el secretario de Asuntos Municipales del Ministerio, Avelino Zurro, De Pedro recorrió la nueva sala de terapia intensiva del hospital Eurnekian y luego se trasladó hacia un área de aislamiento con 100 camas no hospitalarias, que fue acondicionado por el Municipio en un centro de capacitación. Durante su visita a Ezeiza, el ministro además visitó el comedor y merendero "Caacupé", en el Barrio del Plata, en donde voluntarios y voluntarias asisten todos los días con alimentos a más de 50 niños y niñas con la distribución de viandas de viandas a domicilio. Luego de esta recorrida, el ministro se trasladó hacia la localidad de Cañuelas, en donde junto a la intendenta, Marisa Fassi, visitó el hotel del Sindicato de Mecánicos y Afines del Transporte Automotor (SMATA), en donde también se montará un centro de aislamiento con 500 camas no hospitalarias. Tanto el predio de Ezeiza como el hotel de SMATA se suman a los distintos espacios que se están acondicionando en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA) para atender una potencial demanda de camas no hospitalarias para enfermos leves, que rondan las 18 mil incluyendo el predio de Tecnópolis, que cuenta con 2. 500 camas.
