Estuvieron presentes tanto la titular Victoria Donda y la Directora de Políticas y Prácticas contra la discriminación, Ornella Infante, como María Rachid y María José Lubertino, entre decenas de protagonistas que empujaron la ley desde adentro y fuera del Congreso. Agradecemos especialmente a Franco Torchia por la audaz conducción del evento. "Cada uno de los protagonistas es testigo de que fue una ley bisagra", comenzó diciendo Victoria Donda, que aprovechó la nueva oportunidad de brindis para pedir la sanción de otras dos leyes de ampliación de derechos: la Ley Integral Trans y la modificación de la Ley Antidiscriminación, "para que se puedan reflejar nuevos cambios que pide la sociedad". De eso, al fin y al cabo, trató el encuentro: "No vamos a tener esas leyes si no recordamos estos triunfos que tuvimos y nos marcan cómo es el camino", manifestó Donda. "Vamos a seguir festejando pero sin dejar de impulsar todo lo que falta". Ornella Infante recordó cómo su encuentro con el INADI por aquellas épocas le cambiaron su mirada sobre la política. "Yo era una de las que renegaba de la política. Vengo de un hogar muy humilde, de mamá docente y papá empleado de farmacia. De niña viví grandes violencias por ser quién era. Y la verdad que en el INADI pude dimensionar las diversas necesidades de derechos que teníamos". Infante recordó también a María Laura Pía Badaraco, una activista que la convenció a ir por los derechos que le habían sido arrebatados por manifestar su identidad de género. Hoy es la Directora de Políticas y Prácticas contra la discriminación del INADI, además de secretaria general de Federación Argentina LGBT. "Para mi ser la directora del INADI, junto con una compañeraza como Victoria Donda, es la responsabilidad de nutrir de contenido para que otros sectores vulnerados de la sociedad puedan festejar muchos más logros como los que nosotres gracias a nuestra lucha y un Estado que escuchó podemos disfrutar". También participaron del brindis altos referentes de la justicia y la política argentina. Entre ellos, la doctora Elena Liberatori, la primera jueza que casó a parejas de hombres y mujeres en la Ciudad, que recordó que el primer matrimonio igualitario por firma de juez ocurrió en Ushuaia, capital de la provincia gobernada por Fabiana Ríos, también presente en la velada virtual. Felipe Solá, por su parte, recordó que al momento de la discusión su bloque estaba dividido y responsabilizó a la "enorme fuerza de la lucha" y al "avance de la militancia, mientras los demás dormíamos" por dar vuelta la historia. Y recordó un fragmento de su discurso: "No se trata de resolver un problema sino de brindar un derecho. No hay autoridad para negar un derecho". Rachid recordó además las alianzas entre organizaciones y políticos para hacer entrar y empujar la Ley, en forma de divertidas anécdotas que revelan cuánto se avanzó en todos estos años en materia de cambio cultural. Miriam Lewin, actual titular de la Defensoría del Público, recordó que el día de la sanción se encontró manifestación de ese momento "junto a abuelitos con nietos" que festejaban en Villa Crespo. Y se preguntó retóricamente:"¿Qué nos pasó como sociedad que pasamos de considerar una enfermedad a amor? ¿Cómo se puede condenar el amor?". Finalmente brindó "por más conquistas, por más derechos". Juliana Di Tullio, otra de las impulsoras desde adentro del recinto, aseguró que en sus 12 años como diputada ésta fue la Ley más importante que votó. Ante una pregunta de Torchia sobre si el Matrimonio Igualitario modificó la concepción patriarcal del matrimonio, fue contundente: "Modificó la cabeza del Estado". También relató el rol de Néstor Kirchner, "juntando votos en el PJ nacional". Lucía Corpacci, diputada nacional, ex gobernadora y senadora que votó la ley, agradeció a la titular del INADI por la invitación y se declaró feliz por volver a encontrarse, al menos virtualmente, "con mucha gente que quiero mucho y hace tiempo no se veía". Se refería a muchxs del resto que continuaron alzando sus copas hasta altas horas de la noche, en celebración de una gesta histórica que actualizó un espíritu de lucha que sigue intacto, se renueva en la calle y el Estado y parece augurar muchos más avances, con brindis.
