Además, los representantes de las carteras de Ambiente de las provincias agradecieron el acompañamiento en este proceso del ministro de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible de la Nación, Juan Cabandié, por recibir los aportes realizados desde COFEMA. La Comisión de Educación Ambiental es coordinada por la provincia de Buenos Aires, por la que participó Luciana Antolini, directora de Educación Ambiental y Relaciones con la Comunidad del Organismo Provincial de Desarrollo Sostenible (OPDS); con la representación alterna de Santiago del Estero, por la que asistió el subsecretario de Medio Ambiente, Carlos Salmoiraghi; y la secretaría de actas a cargo de Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur, por la que concurrió la secretaria de Ambiente, Eugenia Álvarez. Además estuvieron presentes representantes de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Catamarca, Chaco, Chubut, Córdoba, Corrientes, Formosa, Jujuy, Misiones, Salta, San Juan, San Luis, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, Tucumán, Mendoza, La Pampa y Neuquén. El Ministerio de Ambiente de la Nación estuvo representado por Diana Echeandía, directora Nacional de Educación Ambiental y Participación Ciudadana, y Néstor Salcedo, director de Articulación Interjurisdiccional y Acceso a la Información.
