El encuentro se realizó dentro de la Asamblea de la Red Interuniversitaria de Derechos Humanos del CIN, donde participaron representantes de más de 50 universidades, acompañados del público en general que siguió la transmisión en vivo vía streaming. Esta iniciativa se realizará en el marco de un Programa de Formación para Docentes Universitarios en Derechos Humanos que se dictará gratuitamente en 2021. Sobre esta iniciativa, Perczyk subrayó: "Curricularizar y aportar a las formación en DDHH son tareas que desafían a la universidad a entender que no son un agregado sino parte constitutiva de ella. Lo que estamos viviendo hoy es clave, porque de la pandemia vamos a salir, pero con consecuencias: un país más injusto, más desigual, con más pobres, y no podemos mirar para otro lado. La universidad es sostenida y altamente valorada por el pueblo argentino que espera algo de nosotros y es allí donde debemos involucrarnos". También, agregó: "Hay aspectos donde saldremos mejores, con un mejor sistema de salud, una mejor comprensión del valor de la vida y un mejor sistema universitario, si es que logramos capitalizar todo el trabajo que hicimos estos meses". Respecto a la articulación con el sistema universitario, Pietragalla remarcó: "Es fundamental para su secretaría, porque permite emancipar estas políticas en todo el territorio nacional". Además, agregó : "Sus objetivos no son solo atender y acompañar a las víctimas y sus familias sino lograr un cambio radical, y para ellos es indispensable el rol de los docentes en la formación". Por último Veiravé, agregó que este contexto de pandemia: "No visibilizó puntualmente nuevos derechos, sino la importancia que tiene el acceso a las tecnologías y a la conectividad para lograr el ejercicio pleno del derecho a la educación". Además, enumeró otros aspectos puestos en juego en este tiempo, como: "El derecho a la salud y la vida, la comunicación responsable, la longevidad y el cuidado de los adultos mayores, el problema de las violencias y las discriminaciones étnicas y a las personas privadas de su libertad". Sobre el convenio, destacó: "Habilita muchos proyectos y programas, pero que comienza con algo concreto y fundamental: la formación docente". Además, se presentó un espacio de formación de tutores de derechos humanos en educación virtual que se llevará adelante este año junto con el "Ciclo de Conversatorios sobre Educación Superior, Derechos Humanos y Desigualdad en tiempos de Pandemia" el cual dictará en septiembre. Al finalizar la Asamblea, la directora del Museo de Sitio de Memoria ex Esma, Alejandra Naftal, compartió ante los presentes la solicitud que se realizará ante la UNESCO para que dicho Museo sea declarado Patrimonio Mundial.
