The National Institute Against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI) participated since its delegation in Santa Cruz of Education, Equality and Rights of the People Gitano conference organized by the Extension of UNPA- UARG and the Observatory Gitano.

During the conference the axes of formal and Education and Human Rights were addressed. Thereof the references of the Observatory Gitano Jorge Nedich and Voria Stefanovsky, research teams from different universities, teachers who carry out educational inclusion projects and support for school careers, Mode Intercultural Bilingual Provincial Education Council of Santa Cruz and participated INADI delegate in the province, Lucrecia Vivanco.
Exposing the delegation of INADI Santa Cruz revolved around the presentation of the Institute, missions and functions of the delegations and the socialization of the National Map Discrimination valuable inputs contributes to think the Roma community as a collective historically prioritize violated the anti-discrimination public policy development.
In that event also it was formally invited the Gitano Observatory and the different groups that address work in the field to attend Regional Forums for updating the National Plan Against Discrimination, whose first meeting is in the Patagonia region on August 20.
The meeting agreed on the need to form a working against Discrimination and Racism in its particularity the antiziganism, with the Roma community in the province.

El Instituto Nacional contra la Discriminación, la Xenofobia y el Racismo (INADI) participó desde su delegación en Santa Cruz de las jornadas Educación, Igualdad y Derechos del Pueblo Gitano organizadas por la Secretaría de Extensión de la UNPA- UARG y el Observatorio Gitano.

Durante las jornadas se abordaron los ejes de Educación formal y no formal y Derechos Humanos. De las mismas participaron los referentes del Observatorio Gitano Jorge Nedich y Voria Stefanovsky, equipos de investigación de diferentes universidades, docentes que llevan adelante proyectos educativos de inclusión y acompañamiento de trayectorias escolares, la Modalidad Intercultural Bilingüe del Consejo Provincial de Educación de Santa Cruz y la delegada del INADI en la provincia, Lucrecia Vivanco.
La exposición de la Delegación de INADI Santa Cruz giró en torno a la presentación del Instituto, las misiones y funciones de las Delegaciones, así como la socialización del Mapa Nacional de la Discriminación que aporta insumos valiosos para pensar a la comunidad gitana como un colectivo históricamente vulnerado a priorizar en la elaboración de políticas públicas antidiscriminatorias.
En dicho evento además se invitó formalmente al Observatorio Gitano y los diferentes agrupamientos que abordan el trabajo en la temática a participar en los Foros Regionales para la actualización del Plan Nacional contra la Discriminación, cuyo primer encuentro es de la Región Patagonia el 20 de agosto.
El encuentro acordó en la necesidad de conformar una mesa de trabajo contra la Discriminación y el Racismo en su particularidad el antiziganismo,con la comunidad Gitana en la provincia.
