Más de 10000 kits con elementos de protección para niños y niñas de 0 a 2 años fueron entregados durante este invierno a través de la "Campaña de Prevención de la Bronquiolitis y otras enfermedades respiratorias en la primera infancia", realizada por la Secretaría Nacional de Niñez, Adolescencia y Familia, a través del Programa Primeros Años, en conjunto con el Ministerio de Salud de la Nación y organismos de protección de niñez municipales de la zona del AMBA.
Las jornadas de entrega de los kits a las familias se realizaron durante los meses de julio y agosto. En el marco de la campaña también se desarrollaron capacitaciones virtuales a más de mil agentes territoriales de la SENAF y agentes municipales, así como con charlas sobre cuidado y prevención a las familias en los Centros Integradores Comunitarios. Asimismo, en los lugares de entrega de los kits, se realizaron controles pediátricos y de vacunación junto a las áreas de salud municipales.
En total, se alcanzaron a 15 municipios del conurbano bonaerense: Quilmes, Morón, Escobar, Lomas de Zamora, Almirante Brown, San Martín, Merlo, Hurlingham, San Justo, La Matanza, Florencio Varela, Esteban Echeverría, Avellaneda y Pilar. Y la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires se hicieron entregas de los materiales en el Barrio 21-24 y Barrio 1-11-14 de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
