Continúan las reuniones del Comité de Emergencia Ambiental Continúan las reuniones del Comité de Emergencia Ambiental Las jurisdicciones informan el grado de avance en la implementación de acciones por los incendios en el delta del Paraná. jueves 10 de septiembre de 2020 Mediante modalidad virtual, se realizó un nuevo encuentro del Comité de Emergencia Ambiental creado en el marco de la medida cautelar dictada por la Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Nación. Con representantes del Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible y la Administración de Parques Nacionales, las provincias de Santa Fe, Entre Ríos y Buenos Aires y los municipios de Victoria y Rosario, cada jurisdicción comunicó las acciones que lleva adelante para la prevención, el control y la cesación de los incendios irregulares en la región del delta del Paraná, bajo las bases del Plan Integral Estratégico para la Conservación y Aprovechamiento Sostenible en el Delta del Paraná (PIECAS-DP) que lidera la cartera ambiental nacional. De la reunión se destaca el compromiso con la estrategia de faros de conservación que impulsa el organismo que conduce Juan Cabandié. En ese sentido, la provincia de Entre Ríos anunció que aportará dos lugares importantes en el centro de las zonas afectadas por el fuego para instalar nuevos faros, ambos en el departamento Victoria, uno en el sur de Charigüé y otro a la altura de San Nicolás, ambos en el departamento entrerriano de Victoria. Además, en el ámbito del Comité se conformaron tres grupos de trabajo específicos para cumplir con las medidas presentadas ante el Supremo Tribunal de Justicia: Comunicación, Planificación y Prevención y Combate al Fuego. Como parte del orden del día, los representantes jurisdiccionales informaron las novedades y avances en la implementación de las once acciones consensuadas: declaración administrativa de emergencia ambiental; intensificación de la presencia de las fuerzas de seguridad; combate al fuego; información de alerta temprana; campaña comunicacional; creación de cortafuegos; Red de Faros de Conservación; control de ingresantes al valle fluvial del río Paraná, sector delta; elaboración de un plan sistemático de control; presentación de informes exhaustivo de cada jurisdicción; y Plan de Manejo del Fuego para el Delta.
