Officials of the Ministry of Territorial Development and Habitat's Office and the Ministries of Industry and Domestic Trade of the Ministry of Productive Development, received on Wednesday representatives of chambers of construction materials.

The meeting, which is not the first of its kind and will be held by videoconference, is part of the need to continue promoting workshops with key stakeholders in the sector. Among the institutions and bodies called chambers of industry cement, glass, wood, steel, ceramic and brick, among others counted.
As they came forward, the meeting will be provided detailed information in terms of impact on the current evolution of different lines being carried out by the ministry in 2020.

El encuentro, que no es el primero en su tipo y que se realizará por videoconferencia, se enmarca en la necesidad de continuar impulsando mesas de trabajo con actores clave del sector. Entre las instituciones convocadas se cuentan cámaras y entidades de la industria del cemento, vidrio, madera, acero, cerámica y ladrillo, entre otras.
Tal cual se adelantó, en la reunión se brindará información detallada, en términos de impacto, sobre la actual evolución de las diferentes líneas que está llevando adelante el ministerio en 2020.
La mesa de trabajo apuesta a ser una instancia de intercambio y diálogo para actualizar diagnósticos sobre la situación del sector y sus perspectivas, que permita recoger demandas, construir acuerdos y facilite el reajuste y diseño de políticas públicas dirigidas a dinamizar la construcción; actividad llamada a ser un gran motor de la reactivación económica, generación de empleo y abordaje del déficit habitacional.
