Una alternativa digna al trabajo textil ilegal Una alternativa digna al trabajo textil ilegal Manteniendo estrictas medidas de distanciamiento se realizó una visita al Centro Demostrativo de Indumentaria de Barracas. miércoles 09 de septiembre de 2020 Invitados por Gustavo Vera, director del Comité Ejecutivo de Lucha contra la Trata y Explotación de Personas y para la Protección y Asistencia a sus víctimas funcionarios del Ministerio de Trabajo y de la División de lucha contra el trabajo ilegal de la AFIP recorrieron las instalaciones del Centro Demostrativo de la Indumentaria ubicado en Melgar 38, Barracas. Los recibió Néstor Escudero, funcionario del INTI y responsable del CDI. Por el Ministerio de Trabajo estuvieron presentes Juan María Conte, director nacional de Fiscalización del Trabajo y Seguridad Social; Carlos Alberto Sánchez, subsecretario de Fiscalización y Joel de Rosa, director de Inspección Federal. Por la AFIP, concurrieron Luis Irigoyen, jefe de la División de Coordinación contra el Trabajo Ilegal; Juan Pablo Perez Millan Barrenechea, subdirector General de Técnico Legal de los Recursos de la Seguridad Social y Tomás David Mojo, jefe de Sección "B" de la División de Coordinación contra el trabajo ilegal. El Centro Demostrativo de Indumentaria fue una iniciativa conjunta del Gobierno Nacional y de la Ciudad para crear una alternativa digna de trabajo para los costureros que eran rescatados o se escapan de los talleres clandestinos durante 2007. El predio fue adquirido y refaccionado por el GCBA y administrado por el INTI. Inaugurado en el 2009, fue nutrido con maquinaria incautada de juzgados federales y otras aportadas por Desarrollo Social y sus cooperativas se fueron conformando con trabajadores que salían de situaciones de trabajo esclavo o forzado. En numerosos allanamientos donde se rescataban costureros en la Ciudad, el Centro Demostrativo de Indumentaria fue un de las alternativas de reinserción laboral digna y efectiva para las víctimas. Los funcionarios de Trabajo y AFIP se interiorizaron de la historia y el desarrollo del CDI y conjuntamente con el Comité se comprometieron a bregar por replicar centros similares en la Provincia de Buenos Aires como una alternativa digna y legal para las víctimas que sean rescatadas de talleres clandestinos.
