MORE THAN TWO THOUSAND STUDENTS ENJOY PAMPEANOS BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS IN THEIR TECHNICAL SCHOOLS

With an investment of 82 million pesos, the Ministry of Education, Culture,
Science and Technology Office is conducting works in technical schools of
La Pampa. Some works are already completed; others running and 2000 next to
receive future technicians in their classrooms.
"This school is in a very tiny village in La Pampa but has great attachment
to the community, so the works are very well received," said Rafaela
Hernandez, director of the EPET 9 Jacinto Arauz-locality of 2000
inhabitants, 200 km of Santa Rosa. Dr. Rene Favaloro here began as a rural
doctor.
This institution is conducting a comprehensive reform that involved the
demolition of the existing building and expansion of its surface almost
double. So far, more than 60 million pesos were financed in the work.
On the other hand, in the EPET No. 1 of the capital city, currently
attended by about 700 students, they were invested more than $ 17 million
for a reform in the workshop-a Automotores of the three orientations
offered by the institution .
The space of this orientation workshops had several shortcomings as both
functional inadequacy of basic housing standards and access. In addition,
it was necessary to adapt the space to the compressor room, all electrical
and sanitary installations, as well as reforms in sheds.
Also at the School of General Acha Agrotécnica, they were financed more
than $ 3 million for expansion work and lower parts.
Work on these three techniques institutions in the province were funded by
the national government, under the Comprehensive National Program 39 Spare
Buildings of Professional Technical Education (ETP).
Since 2016, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology -a
through the National Institute of Technological Education (INET) - began
construction, renovation and expansion of 197 Professional Technical
Education institutions across the country, exceeding the works during the
previous ten years within the National Fund ETP.
