Al tiempo que recordó que uno de los últimos pasos para lograr las habilitaciones se produjo en diciembre pasado, tras el encuentro que mantuvo con el viceministro de la GACC, Li Guo, donde firmaron la apertura de limones y del que participaron también el presidente y vicepresidente del Senasa, Carlos Paz y Carlos Milicevic, respectivamente. Los establecimientos habilitados por la GACC son la Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas Ltda, Desdeelsur SA, Southern Seeds Production S. A, Agricultores Federados Argentinos Soc Coop Ltda, Ronalb S. R. L, Don Elio S. A. , Uranga Trading S. A y Uranga Trading S. A. Las conversaciones bilaterales sobre arvejas secas, que dieron lugar a la firma del Protocolo Sanitario y la reciente habilitación, comenzaron en el 2013 y estuvieron a cargo del Senasa y de la Cámara de Legumbres de la República Argentina (CLERA). En tanto, la primera visita de representantes del organismo sanitario chino se produjo en 2015. En esa oportunidad y las siguientes los inspectores verificaron los sistemas de control y certificación de embarques de legumbres implementados por el Senasa y visitaron establecimientos procesadores de ese producto. Asimismo, también intervinieron en las negociaciones especialistas del INTA, que pudieron ofrecer a los futuros importadores un exhaustivo panorama acerca del manejo del cultivo de arveja, su genética, mejoramientos, enfermedades y plagas relativas.
