RNA greets the International Commission on Radiological Protection in its 92nd anniversary RNA greets the International Commission on Radiological Protection in its 92nd anniversary - Monday July 27, 2020 The Nuclear Regulatory Authority commemorates the 92nd anniversary of the Decommissioning Foundation International Radiation Protection (ICRP, for its acronym in English) scientific association dedicated to promoting the development of radiation protection through the development of recommendations and guidance on all aspects of protection against ionizing radiation. The ICRP was founded on July 27, 1928 and is composed of scientists, professionals and experts from around the world in the field of radiation protection. Currently, the RNA on the Committee 4 Implementation of the Recommendations, which provides advice on the implementation of the protection system recommended for occupational and public exposure, and acts as the primary point of contact with other international professional organizations and societies related to protection against ionizing radiation. ICRP's work has contributed to the development of recommendations, standards, international guidelines that day are now reference radiation protection worldwide. La ICRP fue fundada el 27 de julio de 1928 y está integrada por científicos, profesionales y expertos de todo el mundo en el campo de la protección radiológica. Actualmente, la ARN integra el Comité 4 Aplicación de las Recomendaciones, que brinda asesoramiento sobre la aplicación del sistema de protección recomendado para la exposición ocupacional y pública, y actúa como el principal punto de contacto con otras organizaciones internacionales y sociedades profesionales relacionadas con la protección contra la radiación ionizante.
