Además, el agresor deberá someterse a un nuevo examen psicofísico para determinar si es apto para volver a conducir.

El intendente Juan Zabaleta se refirió a la medida y señaló:
"No podemos permitir que una persona que cometió este hecho tan grave siga conduciendo como si nada, por eso decidimos tomar esta medida que habilita la ley, porque este acto no solo puso en riesgo la vida del motociclista, sino también la de otros vecinos que transitaban por la zona, y es algo que no podemos permitir. Desde que asumimos estamos trabajando en políticas para mejorar el tránsito y prevenir accidentes en la vía pública. "
En el mismo sentido, el director de la ANSV, Pablo Martínez Carignano, manifestó:
"Aquellos conductores que pongan en riesgo su vida y la de los demás, no deben continuar circulando en las rutas y calles de nuestro país. Estas medidas son necesarias para erradicar las actitudes temerarias al volante. Hay que entender que manejar no es un derecho, sino una responsabilidad, y que cuando el Estado otorga un permiso lo hace para que el conductor respete las normas. No hay tolerancia para la violencia vial. Agradezco la decisión del Intendente Zabaleta de actuar de inmediato. "
El incidente que desencadenó esta resolución ocurrió el viernes 21 de agosto, cuando quien manejaba una motocicleta Honda XR, fue perseguido durante aproximadamente 30 cuadras y embestido desde atrás por un automóvil Ford Focus, por una presunta discusión de tránsito.
Este hecho quedó registrado por cámaras de seguridad y por videos de celulares particulares y fue testimoniado por vecinos que se encontraban en el lugar. El damnificado realizó una denuncia por daños y lesiones.
