against self-insuring employers ART and 36.1% reduction. Between April and
June 2017 34.899 new trials were initiated in 2018 the volume of new
proceedings was 22,288. A breakdown of the study by the Statistics
Department of the Superintendency of Occupational Risks (SRT) shows that
the cases filed by workers productive units were 21,905 (36.1% less than in
the same months of the previous year), while that workers in private houses
began 383 trials, 37.7% less than in the 2nd quarter of 2017. the figure
marks the downward trend in judiciality against the system that has been
recorded since the third quarter of 2017 onwards. The study noted that of
the five major provinces with greater number of lawsuits against the system
initiated by workers productive units recorded the largest decline in
Córdoba (-80%), followed by the City of Buenos Aires (-66.4% ) and Mendoza
(-55.6%). In return the amount of increased trial in Santa Fe, where an
increase of 3.6% litigiosidad verified. While in the 2nd quarter of 2017
3961 trials they were recorded in the same period of 2018 to 4102 volume
passed. Santa Fe is one of the districts that have not yet acceded to the
new Law on occupational hazards. In the case of the province of Buenos
Aires it showed an increase (23.7%), although that figure is explained by
the number of judicial proceedings were opened in that jurisdiction from
accession and implementation of Law 27,348. Many of those causes before the
legislative amendment was transacted in Buenos Aires. In turn, the stock of
judgments from 2010 to the second quarter of 2018 had not obtained a first
sentence amounted to 489,550 records. SRT records indicate that between
January and June 2018 there was a total of 38,198 judgments, most of them
of first instance, and largely related to accidents or illnesses that
occurred between 2014 and 2017. The report also notes decline in
litigation, in most economic activities. Which he did to a greater degree
was Financial Services (-45.8%) and the lowest rate reduction that had been
Agriculture, Hunting, Forestry and Fisheries (-25.4%). Regarding the size
of the company or organization, the largest were those that recorded the
largest annual fall of judgments (-44.5%) and the rest had declines of 30%
higher litigation. Downloads Newsletter Litigiousness 2nd Quarter 2018 (0.5
