Las Unidades de la Fuerza Aérea Argentina conmemoraron el 9 de Julio Las Unidades de la Fuerza Aérea Argentina conmemoraron el 9 de Julio Cumpliendo con el protocolo sanitario en el marco de la pandemia de COVID-19, el personal de la Institución participó en actos por el Día de la Independencia lunes 13 de julio de 2020 A 204 años de la declaración de la Independencia, los destinos de la Institución conmemoraron el 9 de julio cumpliendo con las medidas sanitarias en el marco de la pandemia de COVID-19. El acto realizado por la II Brigada Aérea, se llevó a cabo en la plataforma militar frente al mástil de la Unidad. El mismo fue presidido por el jefe del Sistema de Enlace de Retirados de la Fuerza Aérea (SERFA) "Paraná", comodoro Horacio Bianchini, y contó con la presencia de un reducido número de personal militar perteneciente a la Unidad. Además, en el marco de esta fecha tan importante para la historia de nuestro país, el jefe de Unidad, comodoro Hugo Dirié, participó del izado del pabellón nacional que se realizó en el Comando de la 2da Brigada Blindada "General Justo José de Urquiza" del Ejército Argentino. Asimismo, la V Brigada Aérea asistió a los actos programados por el Día de la Independencia en la ciudad de Villa Mercedes, provincia de San Luis. Los mismos se desarrollaron siguiendo estrictos protocolos de distanciamiento social, bajo la normativa vigente. A la medianoche del 8 de julio, en la Plaza Pringles, el personal de la Unidad participó en la entonación del Himno Nacional Argentino. Al día siguiente, se llevó a cabo el izado del pabellón nacional en la Plaza San Martín y el jefe de Brigada, comodoro Fabián Capellino, asistió al Te Deum, oficiado en la iglesia "Nuestra Señora de la Merced", presidido por el obispo emérito de San Luis, monseñor Pedro Martínez. Finalizada la ceremonia religiosa, las aeronaves A-4 AR realizaron un pasaje aéreo sobre la ciudad. Por su parte en Villa Reynolds, sede de la V Brigada, se izó el pabellón argentino con la presencia del jefe de brigada, los jefes de grupo y el suboficial de Unidad. De esta forma, la Cuna de Halcones, dijo presente en el 204° aniversario de nuestra independencia. En la Plaza de la IX Brigada Aérea, con asiento en Comodoro Rivadavia, el personal también participó del izado de bandera respetando las medidas de seguridad. Asistió a este acto el jefe de Unidad, comodoro Sergio Bruno, acompañado por un grupo reducido de personal militar perteneciente a la Brigada. El comodoro Bruno también participó de la ceremonia llevada a cabo en el mástil ubicado en la rotonda del Boulevard 9 de Julio de dicha ciudad, junto al intendente de Comodoro Rivadavia, Dr. Juan Pablo Luque; el comandante de la 9na. Brigada Mecanizada, coronel Néstor Leonard; el jefe del Destacamento Naval Comodoro Rivadavia, capitán de Corbeta Cesario Leiva y autoridades municipales. La Base Aérea Militar Río Gallegos realizó una ceremonia en el Salón de Usos Múltiples que fue presidida por el jefe de Unidad, comodoro Gabriel Maldonado, quien brindó palabras alusivas luego de entonarse las estrofas del Himno Nacional Argentino. Por su parte, el personal de la Fuerza Aérea Argentina que integra la Unidad Aérea Argentina en Chipre recordó un nuevo aniversario de la Independencia entonando las estrofas del Himno Nacional Argentino para luego continuar con las actividades normales de vuelos operativos y las tareas de mantenimiento de aeronaves y de las instalaciones. Por otro lado, el Instituto de Formación Ezeiza conmemoró esta fecha con una parada militar en la Plaza de Armas "Primer Teniente Juan Domingo Bernhardt". El acto fue presidido por el director del Instituto, comodoro Fabián Ricardo Luján, quien estuvo acompañado por el subdirector, comodoro Álvaro José Daniele; personal militar Superior; el encargado de Unidad, suboficial mayor Rubén Palacios y personal militar subalterno. Al son de una trompeta ejecutada por la cabo Eliana Pedernera, se izó el pabellón nacional que reivindica una vez más nuestra patria libre y soberana, como así la soñaron nuestros padres fundadores.
