MORO: "TO HAVE A STATE POLICY ON DRUGS, WE MUST WORK TOGETHER "

Trafficking Office, Martin Verrier, and the head of Toxicology Hospital
Fernández, Carlos Damin, the head of the Department of Comprehensive Drug
Policy of Argentina (SEDRONAR), Roberto Moro, this morning attended the
opening of the Seminar on Narcocriminalistics, who performed at the
Educational Polo Saavedra .. During his presentation, Moro said that "to
have a state policy on drugs must all work together, beyond the differences
we have, because the problem in the world is very complex and has surpassed
all divisions expected. " He added: "As President Mauricio Macri says, if
we're not all standing on the same path and with the same shirt, we will
not reduce consumption in our country." Secretary of State also stressed
that "as drug trafficking is transnational, if we fail to work together
with the region, as we are also encouraging inward, municipalities,
provinces and organizations of civil society, we will not achieve lower
consumption and illegal trade in psychoactive substances. " Organized by
the Ministry of National Security, at this meeting the trends on the drug,
the emergence of new psychoactive substances, the evolution of drug
trafficking in our region, the regulatory framework and market dynamics of
chemical precursors are addressed and money laundering, among other topics
related to the problem.
