56 offers were submitted for an estimated investment of USD 520 million
distributed in 14 provinces that would generate 1,600 direct jobs and would

advantage for the system through savings in transmission and distribution
losses of electricity and forced displacement generation alternative fuel
(no gas).
Round 3 REFRESH (MiniRen) aimed at small scale projects distributed across
the country, to be connected in networks and low voltage of 13.2 kV, 33 kV
and 66 kV. The maximum power allowed per project is 10 MW, while the
minimum of 0.5 MW. Only for the case of wind power technology the offered
may exceed the limit established in up to 3.5 MW, provided it said excess
is less than the unit power of one aerogerenador.
Distribution technology is 350 MW for wind and solar photovoltaic, which
will compete together with quotas by regions and provinces. Small
Hydroelectric available 10 MW to 25 MW biomass, biogas and 10 MW Biogas
Landfill 5MW, all without region. In the specifications it ruled a maximum
quota of 20 MW per province, except for Buenos Aires where he was 60 MW.
For this round are not extensions of existing plants are contemplated.
The award of projects will take place on 22 July, once evaluated the
