AGROINDUSTRY CALLS FOR EXPORTERS OF FOREST BASE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SEMINAR "WOOD ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD"
On June 7 Agribusiness part of the outstanding seminar to share
experiences, raise and define scenarios to promote new export business in
the timber field.

The Secretary of State of the Nation Agribusiness invited to participate
who are or have as a challenge to export forest products based on
the "Madera Argentina to the World" Seminar to be held on 7 June in the
city of Corrientes. The forest industry sector has a new opportunity to
include the foreign market as an alternative medium-term for their
products. With a wood supply today can not absorb the domestic market, a
firm prospect of growing external markets, in particular, strong demand
from China is presented.
The seminar is organized by the Agribusiness portfolio's Office, in
conjunction with the Government of the Province of Corrientes and Argentina
Forestry Association (AFoA) with support from the Federal Investment
Council. The event will feature prominent national and foreign foresto
linked to global industry speakers to share their experiences, raise and
define new business scenarios for the country in this area. also
instruments of export promotion and logistics and transport situation and
the potential in the international context will be discussed.
The lectures will be given by BICE, Marco Ratti Commercial Manager; Chief
of Staff of the Secretariat for Trade Facilitation, Eugenia Rodriguez
Campos; Undersecretary of Ports, Waterways and Merchant Marine, Mariano
Saul; the National Director of Automotive Cargo Transport, Guillermo
Campra, among others. They also participate in the management boards of the
national private sector, specialized consultancies in the sector, etc.
Also attending will be representatives of the China National Forest
Products (CFPC), the largest forestry company in China who are interested
in informing the China market opportunities for forest products. The
company established an Institute for Investment Promotion and Trade with
the aim of developing foreign markets and long-term relationships and
imports about 30 million m3 and it began operating in the country.
The event will take place from 8:30 in the Andes Space City Corrientes.
