Minister of Public Works of the Nation, Gabriel Katopodis, and the mayor of Lanús, Nestor Grindetti, toured the hospital installed by the municipality in the educational center of Villa Garden, where the national government funds will be allocated.
In that sense, Katopodis said: "We visited the Hospital Campaign Villa Garden in Lanús, where we will allocate national resources to cope better this pandemic and strengthen the health network in the Province of Buenos Aires"
The hospital has initial medical care and trained staff to handle mild and suspected cases of Covid-19, and is to ensure objective therapeutic isolation of patients and decompress admission to the Hospital Evita and Unit prompt attention Lanus .
The Ministry proceeds with the works René Favaloro Hospital in Rafael Castillo, and Nestor Kirchner in Hospital Gregorio de Laferrere. El ministro de Obras Públicas de la Nación, Gabriel Katopodis, y el intendente de Lanús, Néstor Grindetti, recorrieron el hospital de campaña instalado por el Municipio en el Polo Educativo de Villa Jardín, donde se destinarán fondos del Gobierno Nacional.
En ese sentido, Katopodis afirmó: "Visitamos el Hospital de Campaña de Villa Jardín en Lanús, donde vamos a destinar recursos nacionales para enfrentar mejor esta pandemia y fortalecer la red sanitaria en la Provincia de Buenos Aires"‬
El hospital de campaña cuenta con atención médica inicial y con personal capacitado para atender casos leves y sospechosos de Covid-19, y tiene como objetivo garantizar el aislamiento terapéutico de los pacientes y descomprimir el ingreso al Hospital Evita y a la Unidad de Pronta Atención de Lanús.
Asimismo, el Ministerio avanza con las obras en el Hospital René Favaloro, en Rafael Castillo, y el Hospital Néstor Kirchner en Gregorio de Laferrere. También, continúa la construcción de ocho Hospitales Modulares de Emergencia, a partir de las directivas constructivas del Ministerio de Salud, que permitirán incrementar las camas de terapia e internación.
De la recorrida también participaron el secretario de Obras Públicas, Martín Gill y el subsecretario de Ejecución de Obra Pública, Edgardo Depetri.
