IT CONSOLIDATES THE JOINT BETWEEN COFECYT AND COPADE

Holders of both organizations met to deepen science and technology policies
in the province.

Undersecretary of federalization of Science, Technology and Productive
Innovation and head of COFECYT, Dr. Thomas Ameigeiras received the new head
of the Council for Planning and Development Action (COPADE) in the province
of Neuquen, Dr. Pablo Gutiérrez Colantuono in the Technological Scientific
Center of the City of Buenos Aires.
As part of the meeting, the two officials shared the need to deepen the
articulation of programs between COFECYT and COPADE. Gutierrez said that
projects funded by the Federal Council "have a strong territorial impact at
the level of municipalities which further legitimizes public policy that is
cultural that seeks to transform our society."
Currently the province of Neuquen, in coordination with COFECYT, has more
than 34 projects in more than 10 departments in which more than 234 human
resources involved.
In the same vein, Ameigeiras stressed that the idea "is to continue
deepening public policies in science, technology and innovation in the
nation, province and municipality making axis in the territory as the tool
to work in a harmonious development of the whole province Neuquén ".
