AGROINDUSTRY PRESENT IN THE "INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE FASCINATION OF PLANTS"
In this edition, the management of portfolio Agroindustrial Biotechnology
joined the event to expose on technical and regulatory advances in plant
biotechnology.

Under the fifth "International Day fascination with plants" which was
celebrated worldwide by scientists and people related to plant science
under the umbrella of the European Plant Science Organization (EPSO), the
Secretariat of Government Agribusiness, through the Department of
Biotechnology joined the call organized by the National University of
Quilmes.
Activity also involved multiple institutions linked to research conducted
talks vegetables and demonstration workshops for attendees.
In the event, plus a stand with informative material about the actions of
the Ministry of Agro-industry on this issue, the Department contributed a
workshop entitled "Plants as biotechnology factories." Agustina lectured
Whelan, Coordinator Biosafety Biotechnology Directorate, who presented
the "regulatory framework on GMO plant in Argentina"; Gabriela Levitus the
Argentine Council for Information and Development of Biotechnology
(ArgenBio), who spoke on "Communicating biotechnology" and Valeria Rudoy of
the National University of Hurlingham. It is worth remembering that the
latter institution has recently been invited to join the National Advisory
Commission on Agricultural Biotechnology (CONABIA) which addressed
the "Advances in Plant Biotechnology".
At the end of the block researchers, teachers and students came to
