MORE THAN 7500 STUDENTS ENJOY RIOJANOS BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS IN SCHOOLS

Thanks to the joint work being carried out by the Ministry of Education,
Culture, Science and Technology of the Nation and the government of the
province of La Rioja, children and local teenagers are getting building
improvements in institutions where they study, learn and they grow.
School infrastructure works in the province are taking place at all
educational levels, from kindergarten to university garden. There are
currently a total of 38 works for a total amount of $ 473,838,201, of which
23 were already completed and 15 are under construction, expanding
enrollment to 7,578 students.
For younger, between 45 days and 3 years, La Rioja already has two new
nursery schools with an estimated enrollment of 154 vacancies. Meanwhile,
for the initial level there are 21 works including new buildings and
extensions-for a total of $ 270.777.256-, of which 13 are completed and 8
running. The latter, including those conducted by the Ministry of Interior,
will complete a total of 4867 vacancies.
In the form of rural schools, there is currently a work in progress and
another already completed, extending enrollment to 270 students. As for
technical education, completed works are 5 and 5 in an amount invested by
execution amounts to $ 136,457,625 Nation.
Regarding the primary and secondary levels, it is estimated that the works
of expansion and spare parts in these establishments will impact 977
students. Also it is running a work for university buildings.
Joint investment between the federal government and the province of La
Rioja edilicia aim at improving the schools where our children are formed,
from the early years to complete their compulsory education.
