General Roca (Río Black) - The National Health Service and Food Quality
(Senasa) seized yesterday in the province of Rio Black 785 kilograms of
papayas and citrus, host of the pest fruit fly, detected in two separate
checks carried out in two locations , San Antonio Oeste (SAO) and
Chichinales.
In the first case, since ODS inspectors reviewed a truck headed with a full
load of fruit and vegetables from Viedma to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego.
Part of this burden was composed of 100 kilograms of lemon, tangerine 300
kilograms and 300 kilograms of Orange, whose documentation indicating that
came from Entre Rios but not certified that count on compulsory treatment
