WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

As part of World Environment Day, we made a day of cultural extension on
the activity developed by the Naval Prefecture Argentina in environmental
matters.
The event took place at the Deputy Florencio Mantilla Building Guard hall
and was chaired by the Director of Environmental Protection, Rear Admiral
Miguel Bartorelli, who stressed: "Protecting natural resources in our scope
is one of the strategic objectives of the Prefecture naval Argentina ".
In addition, the captain of Dr. Bernardo Houssay motovelero oceanographic,
senior professionals prefect Pablo Perez Segovia force, and spoke about the
research campaigns carried out in the Argentine Sea, rivers and lakes in
the country, within the framework of various projects They are carried out
with Argentine scientists from other institutions.
The United Nations established on June 5 as World Environment Day with the
aim of generating a deep universal consciousness and make a commitment to
achieve a viable and equitable balance in human development, as well as a
sustainable future for land and living beings that inhabit it.
