NATIONAL BUREAU OF LINKAGE BETWEEN AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION AND AGRO-INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION
At the headquarters of the national agro-industrial portfolio, participants
and Buenos Aires National Government, enterprises, organizations and
institutions met to facilitate a joint strategy.

The Ministry of Government Agricultural Industry Office, the Ministry of
Education's Office and the Department of Agricultural Education of the
Province of Buenos Aires, held the first meeting of the National Board of
linkage between Agricultural Education and Agroindustrial Production, with
in order to develop a joint work plan with proposals to address challenges
and develop tools to improve coordination between schools and businesses.
During the opening of the meeting, organized by the EscuelAgro Program and
the National Institute of Technical Education (INET), Secretary of Family
Agriculture, Coordination and Territorial Development, James Hardie, he
explained that "we propose a swap space to identify the challenges and
needs with agribusiness companies in the innovation and development of its
human resources. it is important that this Table serves the exchange to
design public policies with different actors, because education is one of
the main policies of the state. "
While adding: "through this space work for Agricultural Education Argentina
is recognized in the region and in the world for quality, innovation and
capacity, allowing its graduates to choose the best tools their future."
For his part, Director of Technological Innovation for Small Producers,
Lucas Amadeo said that "we want this to be a space where we find the
opportunity to generate exchange, where we will try complex but necessary
topics and is commendable that we have the ability to converse and find
true improvements. "
In this regard, he stressed that "EscuelAgro begins to consider as a
continuous process, which leads to launch a zonal table of this style in
every encounter EscuelAgro and achieve territoriality coming coordinated
action across all sectors in the medium and long term" .
Undersecretary of Agriculture Luis Urriza, said that "agro-technical
schools are fundamental to the development of the Argentine countryside,
this meeting allowed us to analyze what is being done to include the linked
to Agtech for young people who will engage in activity in the future ".
During the meeting an agenda of issues among which stand out the
possibility of a Strategic Plan for Agricultural Education was proposed;
linked to professionalizing practices; legal issues; experience for
professional life; the roots and the role of the state to create
opportunities for regional economies, to strengthen and enhance the link
between the productive sector and the education from the synergy of the
various stakeholders and create a space for common meeting between the
actors cooperate, coordinate and promote actions that facilitate achieving
long-term goal.
It should be noted that this first table brought together participants from

institutions, which will meet again on 29 July as part of the Rural
Exhibition of Palermo, to facilitate a joint strategy.
