The Committee on Labor and Social Security of the Senate of the Nation held a briefing for treatment in committee the bill on the legal regime of the telework agreement approved by the Chamber of Deputies.
Exposure Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Claudio Moroni participated; Secretary General of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), Héctor Daer and general secretary of the Central de Trabajadores Argentinos (CTA Autonomous) Hugo Yasky.
For his part, Claudio Moroni explained the importance of the need to regulate telework in order to respect the rights of the worker by ensuring that: "The teleworker can not be classified as a specific category because it is a way of provision of the employment contract. As a result, we face the principle of equality: must have the same rights as the worker who is within the company. La Comisión de Trabajo y Previsión Social del Senado de la Nación realizó una reunión informativa para el tratamiento en comisión del proyecto de ley sobre el régimen legal del contrato de teletrabajo aprobado por la Cámara de Diputados.
De la exposición participaron el ministro de Trabajo Empleo y Seguridad Social, Claudio Moroni; el secretario general de la Confederación General del Trabajo (CGT), Héctor Daer y el secretario general de la Central de Trabajadores Argentinos (CTA Autónoma) Hugo Yasky.
Por su parte, Claudio Moroni explicó la importancia sobre la necesidad de regular el teletrabajo con el objetivo de respetar los derechos del trabajador asegurando que: "El teletrabajador no puede ser calificado como una categoría específica porque es un modo de prestación del contrato de trabajo. Como consecuencia de esto, estamos ante el principio de igualdad: debe tener los mismos derechos que el trabajador que está dentro de la empresa. A través de los mecanismos digitales hay que procurar que tenga una jornada adecuada, al igual que el resto de los trabajadores".
