En Catamarca para el año 2020 el Programa Sumar estima una inversión de $ 238 millones y la incorporación de adultos mayores de 64 años que no tengan obra social o PAMI, población que se calcula asciende a más de 2. 400 personas en la provincia. De esta forma, el Sumar logrará brindar cobertura a 161000 catamarqueños. También se sumarán 150 nuevas prestaciones a las más de 700 actuales para garantizar la atención de COVID-19 y sostener la de las patologías prevalentes. El objetivo es acordar las acciones específicas que permitan implementar un modelo asistencial común con foco en la prevención y promoción, y la salud comunitaria; promover la equidad en el acceso a los servicios de salud a partir de prestaciones priorizadas y garantizadas, protocolos comunes y armado de redes de atención; instrumentar una agenda de salud digital tendiente a la integralidad y consistencia de los registros y la accesibilidad de la información clínica de los pacientes; y la puesta en marcha de estrategias de financiamiento conjunto.
