15 NEW PROFESSIONALS JOINED THE CORPS OF LAWYERS FOR VICTIMS GENDER VIOLENCE

Corps of Attorneys and Lawyers for Victims of Domestic Violence of the
Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, after a financial cooperation
agreement with the United Nations Fund for Children ( UNICEF) and the
United Nations Development Program (UNDP) .. with the addition of 11
lawyers and 4 specialized in the issue of sexual violence professional free
legal aid to children and adolescents will be strengthened in Formosa,
Chaco, Corrientes, Misiones, Entre Rios, Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Catamarca,
La Rioja and Santiago del Estero. These provinces were chosen as the
Ministry will provide legal assistance under the National Plan for the
Prevention of unintended pregnancy in adolescents of the Ministries of
Health and Social Development and Education, Culture, Science and
Technology. Designate for Justice is a priority to have experts on the
subject of sexual abuse against children and adolescents and in that line,
the agreement includes a 4 consultants specialized in mental health, family
law, criminal law and child sexual abuse. Also sponsoring criminal and
civil proceedings, as well as the accompaniment to ensure access to their
rights. These provinces of the NOA and NEA will be assigned an attorney or
lawyer whose tasks is estimated to begin in June. Body of Lawyers and
Lawyers for Victims of Domestic Violence is responsible for ensuring access
to justice for children, adolescents and women victims of domestic violence
to prevent, punish and eradicate violence against women. Sponsorship is
accessed through the Network Access Centers Justice (CAJ) covering the
whole country. CAJ professionals interviewed victims of domestic violence
cases and then derive the body for a professional assignment.
