De acuerdo a la Res. 326/ 2020, la SSSalud apoyará financieramente a los Agentes del Seguro de Salud, con recursos disponibles en el FONDO DE EMERGENCIA Y ASISTENCIA, mediante un procedimiento por vía de reintegro, según los valores determinados en la misma Resolución.
Estos recursos extraordinarios tienen el objeto de cubrir los gastos que específicamente demande la cobertura de pacientes sospechosos o con diagnóstico de COVID-19.
Esta decisión tiene la finalidad de disminuir el impacto y afectación de recursos que producirá la pandemia de COVID-19 y a la vez asegurar la continuidad de las prestaciones básicas e impostergables. Con este financiamiento busca asegurar el normal funcionamiento de los Agentes del Seguro de Salud y su capacidad de financiar las prestaciones médico-asistenciales que deben brindar a sus beneficiarios, con motivo de sospecha o diagnóstico de COVID-19.
Para el cobro de la asignación por Módulos Prestacionales COVID, es condición necesaria que los pacientes por los cuales se solicite el reintegro, estén registrados en el Sistema Nacional de Vigilancia Sanitaria (SNVS) que será consultado en el momento del análisis de las presentaciones.
El prestador, responsable por el cuidado del paciente o el laboratorio donde se realizan los análisis clínicos, debe notificar en el Sistema Nacional de Vigilancia (SNVS) que tiene pacientes con diagnóstico de COVID bajo su cuidado. Para eso el paciente debe estar correctamente declarado en SNVS de acuerdo a los establecido por las autoridades del Ministerio de Salud de la Nación.
De esta manera, en el mes de abril, se establecieron módulos prestacionales para la cobertura de pacientes sospechosos o con diagnóstico de COVID-19 con financiamiento de recursos de carácter extraordinario. Con esta y otras determinaciones, la SSSalud vela por la continuidad del normal funcionamiento del Sistema de Salud en la emergencia declarada por la actual situación epidemiológica.
