Trucks and buses saves up to 70% in time and between 46% and 62% in
logistics costs (including fuel); added to increased road safety, lower
noise and environmental pollution; with 7.1 km extension, the new urban
highway connects the highway Buenos Aires La Plata revenues to Puerto
Buenos Aires and the Retiro bus station
From today left open circulation to Paseo del Bajo, urban highway 7.1
kilometers that is transforming the low circulation by the city, plus
motorists and pedestrians, benefiting 15,300 truck drivers per day and more
than 1500 long distance bus, which daily enter the Retiro bus station. In
these groups 30000 passengers from all destinations in Argentina and
neighboring countries are transported.
The mega-project was inaugurated today by the President of the Nation,
Mauricio Macri, accompanied by the Governor of the Province of Buenos
Aires, Maria Eugenia Vidal, the mayor of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodríguez
Larreta, and the Minister of Transport of the Nation, Guillermo Dietrich.
