HE STARTED THE FOURTH EDITION OF THE WEEK OF HONEY NATIONWIDE

The Ministry of Government Agricultural Industry of the Nation and the
National Apiculture Council kicked off the fourth edition of the Week of
Honey. Under the slogan "Sumale honey to your life," the federal campaign
proposes to provinces, municipalities and private entities to promote
beekeeping chain activities across the country.
The aim is to stimulate and promote consumption, reporting on the benefits
of honey, the importance of honeybees for agricultural production, the
benefits of pollination for the preservation of biodiversity, and promote
regional economies.
During the opening day samples of children's drawings from kindergarten to
Senasa, honey tasting, and new flavors of ice cream made with honey.

"It is very important to promote the consumption of honey among Argentines

and Ambassador of Slovenia, Jadranka Sturm Kocian.
"In Slovenia honey consumption is 4.5 kilos per capita, and in Argentina is
200 grams. We are big producers and exporters, but not consumers. We must
become aware of the benefits that honey and evaluate the product excellence
we have, "said the secretary for Food and Bioeconomy, Andrés Murchison.
Moreover, the ambassador of Slovenia, Jadranka Sturm Kocian said: "It's
very interesting the work done by the Ministry of Agro-industry to promote
the consumption of exquisite honey produced here in Slovenia promote once a
year based breakfast. honey, especially for the kids, who are becoming
aware of the importance of the bee for the ecosystem and agricultural
production. "

It is recalled that on May 20 is World Day Bee, declared in December 2017
by the United Nations General Assembly, gives a broader framework of the
campaign, with worldwide repercussions. We should also mention that since
