A DAY OF COLLABORATIVE WORK BETWEEN THE STATE AND CIVIL SOCIETY

The Secretariat of Comprehensive Drug Policy of Argentina (SEDRONAR) made
the first hackathon "Sedronar Innova, collaborative public policies" with
government agencies and civil society to solve challenges around the
problematic use through methodologies public innovation.
The meeting brought together professionals and teams from different
disciplines to think about solutions to problems relating to gender
perspective in public policies of problematic consumption, awareness and
prevention of marijuana use in children and adolescents, and medicalization
in everyday life.
"It is a fundamental tool to be more effective; is an exercise that in the
process we will help improve public policy, "the head of the SEDRONAR,
Roberto Moro, during the end of the day. Also they attended the closing
undersecretary Comprehensive Approach, Lidia Saya; and Undersecretary of
Public Innovation and Open Government Secretariat Government Modernization,
Rudi Borrmann.
A hackathon is a collective experience developing solutions to various
problems within a short span of time. These meetings, where ideas
innovation drives, are characterized by interdisciplinary mode and use of
systems methodologies and design thinking, opening the door to the
plurality of voices.
"With these activities we want to drive innovation within the state.
Citizens with different views, participate in creating solutions to
problems, and proposals can be transformed into public policy, "said Saya.
On the day the teams devised various solutions to the challenges posed by
the Secretariat and armed prototypes of these projects. Proposals will be
reviewed by a jury of specialists and experts on the issues that will
select the best initiative.
The event was attended by health professionals, designers, members of
non-governmental organizations, the SEDRONAR, the National Women's
Institute (INAM), the Innovation Lab of the Faculty of Medicine of the
University of Buenos Aires, Government Laboratory and the Ministry of
Modernization.
