With the launch of the new corridor on the Calchaquí avenue, in the parties
of Quilmes, Berazategui and Florencio Varela (Buenos Aires province), there

Metrobus is the main work of public transport infrastructure that the
Government is taking various cities around the country, to get the benefits

In addition to the Metrobus Calchaquí, opened today, are at work on the
Avenida General Jose de San Martin in Florencio Varela, and Route 8 in San
Martin, which is the second Metrobus of the Province of Buenos Aires

They add to the already opened Metrobus West, Presidente Perón Avenue (also
known as Av Gaona.) In Morón; Route 8 in Tres de Febrero; Metrobus

8 YEARS SINCE THE FIRST METROBUS
On May 31, 2011 was inaugurated in Buenos Aires the first Metrobus of
Argentina, on Avenida Juan B. Justo, with an area of 12 km. Since then
and in 8 years, the network was extended by 108 kilometers and more than
2.6 million beneficiaries were added.
Since then they were adding: in 2013, the Metrobus July 9; Metrobus South
and Highway May 25, 2015; North Metrobus, between 2015 and 2016; Metrobus
Rosario, the first inside the country, in 2016; Lower Metrobus and La
Matanza (the first of Conurbano), the Route 8 and the City of Santa Fe, in
2017; West Metrobus, Metrobus Neuquén in 2018 and in May 2019.

and completes the existing path in Tres de Febrero; and Florencio Varela on
Av. Gral. Jose de San Martin.
By the end of 2019 there will then 17 runners, with a total of 3 million
beneficiaries. In eight years they have opened two runners Metrobus per
year and incorporated more than 350 thousand beneficiaries annually to a
quality public transport.
The new Metrobus Calchaquí, in Quilmes, in detail
The new Metrobus in Quilmes runs along 8.7 kilometers, on Av. Calchaquí
triangle between Bernal and crossing Varela, and has two dedicated lanes
for public transport, one way traffic. It was also built 24 illuminated
Paradores that make up a total of 12 stations at the level of the group,
