BY A CEREMONY HELD ON JUNE 5TH, THE AUTHORITIES OF THE NATIONAL HOSPITAL IN RED "LIC. LAURA BONAPARTE "WELCOMED A NEW BREED OF PROFESSIONALS ENTERING THE INTERDISCIPLINARY RESIDENCE IN MENTAL HEALTH (RISAM) HAVING THE HOSPITAL.

By a ceremony held on June 5th, the authorities of the National Hospital in
Red "Lic. Laura Bonaparte "welcomed a new breed of professionals entering
the Interdisciplinary Residence in Mental Health (risam) having the
Hospital.
The risam is a paid graduate training system, which provides a strong
theoretical discipline training practice in the form of interdisciplinary
teamwork.
The first words were given by Dr. Fernando Calvo, assistant director of the
hospital: "I want to say welcome both you and the new chief residents. The
main feature since the birth of this residence is interdisciplinary, it is
thus distinguished from other residences ". From the direction he pointed
to the consolidation of a new group to think and make decisions, stimulate
discussion and thought into the team and to the institution in general.
Then Mr. Hernán Nobaru expressed, coordinator of Institutional Development
Programs and Bonaparte Hospital. "Welcome to the Hospital. Here is
everything to learn in a disease that mutates. Today, in terms of mental
health and addictions, there is a great complexity where
interdisciplinarity can offer a more comprehensive response. " He also
stressed "we are open to questions, proposals and projects that add to
integration".
For its part, the coordinator of the Residence Lic. Rosana Cuomo stressed
that the new residents come from different fields of work in mental health,
where they develop their postgraduate training full-time at the Bonaparte
for a period of 3 years. It is expected to acquire skills to address issues
of mental health, participating in, theoretical, theoretical joint
assistance activities and research practice.
. To end the presentation, the coordinator of Training Mr. Mariana Camilo
de Oliveira celebrated the entry of new residents for the institution, and
for Argentina Public Health: "The history of this risam is linked
temporarily, but not only with the implementation of the National Mental
Health Law No. 26,657, but with postgraduate training in a public hospital
in state management as part of a public policy and how to carry it out ".
At this point, also reflected "what does implementing a Mental Health Act?
No blind obedience, there is no automatic operation. Among the wording of
the Act and its implementation is a creative task. " Thus, the Hospital
invites entrants to be part of this challenge.
