DIETRICH TOURED ROADWORKS IN ENTRE RIOS

Transport Minister's Office, Guillermo Dietrich, visited this afternoon the
repaving that the national government is carrying out on the RN 12 and RN
14 in Entre Rios. The province has nearly 700 km of routes on site, 184 km
already completed and more than 1,100 km to start or projected.
The Ministry of Transport, through National Roads Authority, finished
rehabilitate 20 km over 45 km which takes into work on the RN12 between the
towns of Zárate and Ceibas, for more than $ 1,100 million amount in
addition to 120 km that were already renewed between Ceibas and Galarza.
Also they are repaving 18 km on the RN 14 access to Gualeguaychú.
"We continue to work on improving the routes of our country, which for
years had no investments. Modernizing the road infrastructure we safer,
more traffic flow, we reduce logistics costs, connect to the Argentine and
regional economies more efficiently. We need to keep working on this path
for our country to continue to grow and reach all the potential to

On the RN 12 earlier this month were completed the first 20 kilometers of
the causeway from the RN12 highway between Buenos Aires / boundary between
Rivers and the intersection with National Route 14. The work included
paving shoulders, bacheo superficial and deep and construction of an
embankment slope shaping. The tasks will benefit more than 14,000 daily
users and invigorate a key production area.
Currently work continues in the next 25 kilometers of the road, so that in
this way is completely recovered the section linking Zárate and Ceibas. In
this sector it is advanced in the asphaltic base and stabilizing shoulders.
This work is complemented by repaving more than 120 kilometers of the RN12
that the nation culminated late last year between the towns of Ceibas and
Galarza. It also included the widening of the road, new shelters for public
transport passengers, reconditioning banquinas, placing defenses and
repaving the bridge over the river Gualeguay.
The rehabilitation of the RN 12 expedite the relocation of production in
the province, characterized by grains and oilseeds, poultry and citrus. It
will improve the performance of local enterprises and help increase the
competitiveness of producers entrerrianos. It will also provide greater
safety and fluidity in the movement of tourism.
This project is implemented by the concessionaire Caminos del Río Uruguay
S.A. As part of the reclamation works being carried out in Entre Rios,
completed jobs patching between Chajarí and Mocoretá, on the RN 14, and the
works of improvements distributor Ceibas and resurfacing works they are
added to the height of Gualeguaychú.
