DISERTAMOS ON FAMILY AGRICULTURE IN ODS

The purpose of the meeting was to exchange views on Family Agriculture for
Sustainable Development.

Wednesday June 12 participated in the Specialized Meeting on Family
Agriculture (REAF) of MERCOSUR held in the Auditorium of RENATRE (National
Registry of Rural Workers and Employers) and disertamos at the
seminar "Contributions and challenges for the co-production of Public
Policies Family Agriculture (AF) "on the role of Agenda 2030 and the
Sustainable Development Goals (ODS) under the AF Decade (2019-2028).
At the meeting, the National Director of International Relations and
Corporate Communications and ODS Project Coordinator at the National
Council for Social Policy Coordination (CNCPS), Luis Di Pietro Paolo,
explained the importance of AF for Sustainable Development; and in the same
panel he spoke Luiz Beduschi, Rural Development Officer of the Organization
of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The day continued with group work, a dialogue on the plan of action of the
Decade AF and the construction of a map of actors, roles, strategies and
continuity of work; and concluded with the screening of the roadmap for the
next semester and the approach of the axes for deepening and sustainability
of the work during the Presidency Pro Tempore of Brazil in the MERCOSUR.
