FIGHT AGAINST DRUG DEALING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: 298 ARRESTED

Members of the Naval Prefecture Argentina continue to patrol different
districts of the country to combat drug dealing and bring peace to the
neighbors. In this context, during the last week 298 people were arrested
and seized cocaine and marijuana.
This was 293 procedures performed as part of Operating Public Safety,
organized by the Ministry of National Security, by Patricia Bullrich.
As a result, more than 3,600 doses of cocaine and marijuana and cash were
seized. In addition, as part of prevention efforts, more than 83000 people
were identified and more than 87000 cars and motorcycles, of which 1,710
were retained were monitored.
Notably Prefecture, federal force led by Eduardo Scarzello, is present in
the cities of Buenos Aires (shantytowns of Zavaleta, 21-24 and Cildañez
INTA) and the towns of Buenos Aires Campana, Escobar, Zárate, Tigre, San
Fernando, San Isidro, Vicente Lopez, Avellaneda and Quilmes.
