Two members of the Naval Prefecture Argentina were distinguished in
the "Latin American Conference on vehicle crime", organized by INTERPOL and
the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI).
On the closing day of the event, which took place on May 31 at the
University Institute of Argentina Federal Police, members of the federal
and provincial forces conducted security transcendent actions was
recognized.
In this context, they were highlighted the prefect Hernán Albornoz Starck
and First Virginio Piedrabuena, who, when they reached a court order on
February 13, 2017, repelled the attack by four criminals who tried to steal
a vehicle. Product of the confrontation, culminating in the withdrawal of
the assailants and preventing theft, Piedrabuena suffered a gunshot wound
in the leg.
Notably present at the federal, provincial, representatives of the police
and teachers said Institute judges and prosecutors event.
