ENVIRONMENT AWARDED THE WINNERS OF THE ENTREPRENEUR TRIPLE IMPACT

the awards of the first edition of the contest for Entrepreneurship Triple
Entrepreneur Impact organized by the Ministry of Environment and
Sustainable Development of the Nation, the National Bank, the Empretec
Foundation and the United Nations Program for Development (UNDP) were
delivered in National Bank headquarters.
The winners were: "Reciclados Esquel" of Chubut; "Power conversion system
cobble" (Aston Rider) Tres de Febrero, Buenos Aires; "Deepagro" Santa
Fe; "Teja hybrid" of Avellaneda, Buenos Aires and "BYOs: collection and
recycling of used vegetable oils" San Miguel de Tucuman.
Of the 65 projects submitted, 5 winners received a trip and stay for the
winning teams will participate in the international event GSG Impact Summit
2019, which will be on 18 and 19 November in Santiago de Chile for the
first time in Latin America. They also obtained the endorsement stamp
PROESUS the quality of entrepreneurship.
The contest was aimed at entrepreneurs who focus their business strategy in
obtaining financial gain without compromising the resources and providing
social value.
They attended the meeting Secretary of Environment and Sustainable
Development, Sergio Bergman; National Bank President Javier Gonzalez Fraga,
director of the National Bank and chairman of Empretec, Jorge Lawson and
Program Coordinator Environment and Sustainable Development of the United
Nations Development Program, Maria Eugenia di Paola.
On the winning projects
Reciclados Esquel was awarded for the category "waste". This project,
already underway, was highlighted by the PROESUS contest in 2016. It is
dedicated to solid waste management, manufacturing multi plastic plates
bonded with an ecological process, achieving an innovative product insert
throughout the region. The products are used in the restoration and
furniture manufacturing, housing construction and the printing industry.

The power conversion system of shot (Aston Rider), categorized
into "alternative energy", designs and sells the system that converts any
new bicycle or used in electric motor. Aimed at people who already have a
bike or want to buy it at will, any kind of shot, and who want to
incorporate electric motor at very low cost, non-technical, mechanical or
electrical. This project was featured in the 2018 contest PROESUS.
Deepagro, of the town of Casilda, Santa Fe, highlighted by PROESUS in 2019,
belongs to the category "agro" and develops software that, using artificial
intelligence and cameras, detects the undergrowth, allowing the targeted
application of herbicide. There are currently four companies in the world
working on recognition of weeds and only Deepagro focused on soy.
The Hybrid Teja venture of Avellaneda, Buenos Aires, was awarded in the
category "energy" and produces and sells hybrid tile. The latter is a
cementitious product intended to cover residential and industrial roofs,
with two modes: solar and green roof. Represents a solution of home solar
energy through a low-cost and easy to install.
BYOs: collection and recycling of used vegetable oils San Miguel de
Tucuman, is a company of circular economy focused on the complete cycle of
vegetable oils. It has a fleet dedicated to the collection of waste, from
the operation of food and beverage outlets, industries, hotels and caterers
vegetable oils. The collection is free and is issued certificate in
accordance with current regulations. The material is transferred to the
BYOS plant in the town of Tafi Viejo, where it receives processing,
consolidation and is then sold for the production of biodiesel. To close
the business cycle, BYOS provides your network fresh sunflower oils and top
quality, home-delivered local and at affordable prices and can thus promote
both business units.
