Se trata de una de las medidas tomadas por el Gobierno nacional para garantizar el abastecimiento y controlar el abuso de precios durante la emergencia sanitaria por el coronavirus. En el caso de Makro se constató el cumplimiento de la medida. Posteriormente, los inspectores de la Agencia de Fiscalización y Control Comunal de Quilmes, a cargo de la secretaria Alejandra Cordeiro, siguieron con los controles en el supermercado El Puente (Av. Calchaquí 1936). Allí, se detectó que no tenían la declaración jurada de los precios, por lo que se labró un acta y se solicitó que la presenten mañana para poder verificar si se está cumpliendo con los precios máximos de referencia o no. Como parte de la jornada, Mayra Mendoza y Paula Español mantuvieron una reunión de trabajo en el edificio comunal (Alberdi 500) para seguir consolidando los controles en la ciudad.
