Se encargará de monitorear y evaluar políticas sociales implementadas por el Gobierno Nacional.
La directora de Economía, Igualdad y Género, Mercedes D' Alessandro, y su par de Política Macroeconómica, Victoria Buccieri, participaron este viernes del Lanzamiento de la Mesa Interministerial de Referentes de Monitoreo y Evaluación de Programas Sociales, organizada por la Dirección Nacional del Sistema de Información, Evaluación y Monitoreo de Programas Sociales (SIEMPRO).
El objetivo de la Mesa es asumir de manera coordinada los procesos de monitoreo y evaluación de políticas sociales, así como diseñar e implementar el Plan Anual de Monitoreo y Evaluación de forma participativa, brindándole un sustento estratégico a las evaluaciones seleccionadas para que las mismas se definan en función de los objetivos prioritarios del Gobierno Nacional.
En este marco, la Secretaria Ejecutiva del CNCPS, Victoria Tolosa Paz, manifestó que "la Argentina tiene una tarea muy importante por delante que es saber qué decisiones se toman y cómo impactan en la ciudadanía cualitativa y cuantitativamente". "En este tiempo de pandemia, esta Mesa se vuelve fundamental para tener un Estado eficiente", agregó.
Por su parte, la Directora Nacional del SIEMPRO, Paula Amaya, destacó que "es un hito darle relevancia política a la evaluación de políticas a través de esta Mesa, y entendemos que es central para definir las decisiones estratégicas de gobierno sobre los programas a los que les vamos a dar seguimiento".
El SIEMPRO pertenece al Consejo Nacional de Coordinación de Políticas Sociales (CNCPS) y es el encargado de diseñar e implementar sistemas para producir información destinada a organismos públicos para diagnosticar la situación socioeconómica de la población y efectuar análisis útiles para la formulación de sus políticas.
